About

Grapevine Softworks is an independent app studio in Dallas, Texas. We build and run three web apps: Halarta, Planet4.Us, and Planet4.Me. Each is a separate product with its own website.

Each app handles one thing a group of people needs to do together, where the usual tools get in the way. Photos from a party end up spread across several phones. A plan to meet up never gets settled in the group chat. The shopping list is on paper, and only one person can see it.

Who runs the studio

Grapevine Softworks was started by Craig Morris in September 2026. Craig has worked as a product designer for more than twenty years, most of that time on consumer software. The studio exists to build products he would use himself and to see them through from the first sketch to the running app.

Design and engineering happen together, so how an app looks and how it works get decided at the same time. The people who build the apps also answer the support email.

How we work

Every app is a website. There’s nothing to install, and each one works in a current browser on a phone or a laptop. Updates go out when they’re ready, and feedback from the people using the apps decides what we build next. Write to hello@grapevinesoftworks.com about anything.
